When will I hear back?

Submitted an application but haven't heard back yet? Please be patient while the employer reviews your materials. How long it takes depends on each individual hiring manager – it could be a few days or a few weeks.

What can I do while I wait?

1. Check your status: While you wait to hear back from the employer, you can check the status of your applications through the Applications tab in your profile.
2. Keep at it: Keep applying to other jobs near you!
3. If it's been a while, feel free to contact the location where you applied to follow up with them directly. (You can usually find a phone number on Google.) HigherMe is not able to connect applicants with employers before an interview is offered.

If you are not chosen for the job, you will still receive an email letting you know. We are dedicated to being transparent with you during your job search.

Keep in mind: HigherMe is not the employer at the job you're applying to. HigherMe is an ATS (applicant tracking system) that this employer uses to manage their hiring process.
