Low Applicant Flow 😬 How can I find more applicants?

It's a tough world out there! So, here are some ideas that can help with your applicant flow & increase your visibility on job boards.

  • Check out ways to improve your job postings to know what to include and not include in your TEMPLATES. This can be a great reference to know if you are aligned with the quality standard.
  • Viewing Indeed Analytics can give you a better idea of hiring insights and hiring trends for your area. This could include the number of jobs and job seekers in your area, the competition rate, average salary, top search terms, and a list of competitors. Use this insight to help curate your job templates to reflect keywords and top search terms (for example hiring immediately). Including these words in the job post can assist in getting additional organic visibility. If any of the jobs are open for teens or college students, you could note that to drive anyone searching for "teen jobs" to your postings.
  • Offer a referral program to your current staff! Utilizing current employees to help with your recruiting efforts can help tremendously. Discuss ideas with your team, encourage them to talk to their friends/family, and share on their social media pages. Offer a hiring bonus if they help bring on a new employee. Some of the best candidates can be referrals! Make it a fun work environment for everyone.
