👀  How do I find out more about a job?

The job postings on HigherMe are all set up by employers using the platform – not by our own HigherMe team. That means that job postings can differ a lot from store to store or brand to brand, and unfortunately we're unable to answer most specific questions you might have about a given job. The best way to get a specific question answered is to look over the job posting or ask your question in an interview.

1. Re-read the job description and make sure you haven't missed anything big.
2. Consider starting an application (you can always withdraw it later) to see if any screening questions might give you a better sense of the job. Some employers include screening questions about experience, certification, commute, availability, and more – this should help tell you if you're a strong candidate for the job and if the job is what you're looking for!
3. Make a note of your questions for later. If your application is chosen for an interview, you can ask the employer directly then.

🌎  How can I tell if a job provides visa sponsorship?

Most jobs on HigherMe are in-person roles based in the United States and Canada. If an employer has not specified in their job posting whether the position is eligible for visa sponsorship, then unfortunately we do not have that information to share with you. Please follow the steps above, making a note of any visa-related questions in case you are invited to interview.
